What if my kids are on the wild side, and won’t sit still for a family picture?
Then we’ll get one where they aren’t sitting still. Everyone wants that one picture where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. I get it! I want that too, but those are honestly boring. My favorite are the ones where the kids are showing their personalities. The pouty toddler’s expression, the closed lipped grin of the preteen with braces, or the serious tough guy high school teenager are who they really are. You might not like that right now, but you’ll look back on it fondly in the future. Ebrace who they really are, and your family photos will be more meaningful to you.
