We are fortunate enough to live close to Underwood Family Farm off of Tierra Rejada in Moorpark. Every year my kids and I make our visit where we visit the animals, slide down the slides (the little ones at least), and climb on the wooden train. The corn maze is a must, even though it is exactly the same every year, and of course choosing their pumpkin.
The night we went this year was filled with magical light. I love my kids. They are growing up so fast, and these images honestly make me nostalgic and sad at the same time. That is why photography is important. I'll never ever get back these moments. I'll never be able to experience the days when they were babies and I had to prop them up with a pumpkin behind them for the picture. What I do have are the images of those days, and they become more priceless as the years go by.
