FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT TO BOOK?
Yes, a $50 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of booking, along with your portrait agreement. The deposit and portrait agreement are required to reserve your appointment. The remaining $180 will be billed to you via email on March 3rd.
HOW MANY people are ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SESSION?
Only one person will be photographed for each time slot. If you have a special request, please send me a message so I can set that up for you. For example if there are 5 of you from the same business getting headshot done, and you need a group photo please let me know in advance. I may not have time to do it if you ask on the day of your session.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
There is no set number of images you will receive- you will get all of them! I guarantee a minimum of 10 images from your session, but most galleries end up being larger than that. Each image is edited before you receive them. You can expect to receive your edited images within 10 days of your appointment.
What should I wear?
I suggest you plan out what to wear well in advance of your session. Be sure to have whatever you wear ironed and ready to go the night before. Try it on to make sure you feel comfortable and confident in your outfit.
Solid colors photograph well. Consider having a contrast of light and dark colors for interest. White shirts with dark jackets are classic looks, and work well with all skin tones. V-neck and scoop neck shirts elongate your neck. Choose simple jewelry that won’t be distracting. Choose a professional watch or bracelet instead of your Apple Watch.
Fitted clothing looks polished and professional. Avoid revealing clothing, especially with large logos or loud prints. I also recommend avoiding shiny fabric, which can be distracting.
If your business requires a more specific look, go with what works for you. Feel free to bring a couple of props, such as a laptop, or tool of your trade if you want them included in your images.
CAN I BRING MY PETS TO BE IN THE PHOTOS?
Pets are not permitted in the studio for headshot minis.
